LibrarySelfie 2019: Prize-Giving in Nigeria

The LibrarySelfie 2019 prize-giving event in Nigeria brought together library advocates, partners, and prize winners in a celebration of reading and community. Held in partnership with the Goethe-Institut Nigeria, the Nigerian Library Association, and the National Library of Nigeria, the event recognised the individuals who used social media to champion libraries as spaces for learning and connection.

These prize-giving moments are at the heart of what the LibrarySelfie series is about: giving visibility to the library advocates who show up every day for their communities, and inspiring more people to do the same.
