LibrarySelfie 2019 Winners Announced

Library Aid Africa was delighted to announce the winners of the LibrarySelfie 2019 campaign, with library advocates celebrating across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Tanzania, and South Africa.

The LibrarySelfie series, run in partnership with the Goethe-Institut, uses social media to create awareness about the importance of libraries as spaces for reading and learning. Each year, it surfaces new champions from communities across the continent who go on to inspire others and, through their mini-grants, create real and lasting change in their local library ecosystems.
