LibrarySelfie 2020 Winners Begin Receiving Prizes

On the International Day for Universal Access to Information 2020, Library Aid Africa marked the occasion with a moment of celebration as LibrarySelfie 2020 winners across eight African countries began receiving their prizes.

The LibrarySelfie series, run in partnership with the Goethe-Institut, has grown into one of the most consistent and community-driven initiatives in the African library space, using social media to create awareness about the importance of libraries as spaces for reading, learning, and connection. Seeing winners recognised on this particular day made the moment all the more meaningful.
