Young African Library Leaders Fellowship

YALLF 2021 Fellows Graduate

  • Across Africa

On 5 February 2022, the YALLF 2021 cohort marked a significant milestone as fellows graduated and officially joined the growing network of young library leaders across Africa committed to leading libraries forward.

The virtual graduation ceremony was more than a formal completion of the fellowship. It was a collective commitment to a pan-African movement of emerging professionals dedicated to modernising library services, fostering cross-border collaboration, and advocating for the essential role libraries play in the future of the continent. Each graduate carried forward not just new skills, but a shared sense of purpose that continues to grow with every new cohort.
