Young African Library Leaders Fellowship

YALLF 2022 Spotlight: Paul Mensah Amanor

  • Across Africa

Paul Mensah Amanor from Ghana joined the 2022 cohort of the Young African Library Leaders Fellowship with a conviction that access to libraries is one of the most direct paths to addressing inequality and poverty in his community.

Through the fellowship, Paul built the knowledge and tools to pursue that vision with purpose. He is committed to expanding library access to underserved populations, nurturing the next generation of community leaders through improved resources, and driving the kind of social change that can only happen when information is made truly available to everyone.

His work underscores what the YALLF program was built for: equipping young library leaders with the skills and perspective to make libraries essential tools for economic and social development.
