YALLF 2022 Spotlight: Peace Osemudiamen

Peace Osemudiamen, a 2022 fellow of the Young African Library Leaders Fellowship from Nigeria, came into the program with a vision that extended far beyond her own career. Her goals centred on deepening her digital literacy and fostering a culture of collaboration within the library profession.

Through the fellowship, Peace expanded her professional network, co-created projects with peers from across the continent, and sharpened the leadership skills she believes are essential for the next generation of librarians. But perhaps the most enduring aspect of her vision is her commitment to inspiring other young professionals to step into library leadership, challenging the traditional perception of what a librarian is and what a librarian can do.
