Library students and library professionals across Africa can now apply to host a LibrariansInTech event from October to December 2026.

A LiT event is a gathering of 5 or more librarians having conversations about library technology and its application in transforming library service delivery

The LiT initiative began in 2025, with nine (9) LiT events organised by 9 librarians across Nigeria, Uganda, Malawi and Sierra Leone.

Events can be hosted physically or virtually by any African library professional with support from Library Aid Africa.
